How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

Your notice must include:

  1. Your full legal name and contact details (email and postal address).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on Manic Emu of the material you claim is infringing.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice including your contact details, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction of a competent court.

Repeat Infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we may terminate access for users who are repeat infringers.
